Modern Technology for Precise, Comfortable Dental Care

At Hawaii Pacific Dental Group, we believe the right technology makes dentistry more accurate, more comfortable, and more convenient for every patient. We have invested in advanced tools that help us see more, plan with greater confidence, and complete treatment in fewer visits. These tools support everything we do, from routine exams and preventive care to dental implants, porcelain veneers, and complete smile restorations.

Patients across Honolulu seek us out because they want a dentist who combines state-of-the-art equipment with a gentle, personal approach. Below, you can learn more about two of the technologies that set our practice apart.

3D Cone Beam CT Imaging with GALILEOS

Hawaii Pacific Dental Group was the first practice in all of Hawaii to feature the 3D Cone Beam CT scan technology from GALILEOS. This advanced imaging gives Dr. Patel a clear, three-dimensional view of your teeth, jaw, and surrounding structures, rather than the flat view of a traditional X-ray. With that level of detail, he can plan procedures with confidence and identify concerns early, often before they cause discomfort. The scan is quick and comfortable, and the images help us explain your treatment in a way that is easy to understand. Here is how this technology benefits our patients.

Clear 3D views of the teeth, jawbone, and nearby structures
More precise planning for dental implants and other surgical procedures
Early detection of hidden problems that may not show up on a standard X-ray
Better visual explanations so you can see and understand your treatment plan
Greater confidence and predictability from planning through placement

CEREC Technology for Same-Day Restorations

Our state-of-the-art Honolulu office features CEREC technology, which allows Dr. Patel to design, create, and place many restorations in a single visit. Instead of waiting weeks for a lab to return a crown, patients can often leave the same day with a durable, natural-looking restoration. Because we also have an on-site dental lab, Dr. Patel oversees the creation of restorations himself, which helps reduce waiting time and keeps quality under close control. CEREC is especially helpful for busy families who want excellent results with fewer appointments. Here is why patients appreciate this technology.

Same-day crowns in many cases, with no long wait for a lab
Fewer appointments, which means less time away from work and school
Custom restorations designed for a precise fit and a natural look
Digital design that can reduce the need for messy traditional impressions
Strong, tooth-colored materials that blend in with your smile
